"The best compliment that can be paid an entertainer is to re-book them on a consistent basis. With that in mind, we have surely paid the Marlins the ultimate compliment by having them entertain for the Kentucky Municipal League's past three annual conventions. Further, I have recommended the Marlins to many individual association executives, the American Society of Association Executives, and state municipal league colleagues throughout the nation. The variety of music they offer creates a rapport with even the most diverse audience. 'Talent' is simply synonymous with 'The Marlins'. Just as important to a meeting planner is cooperation, and in that regard, I have found no entertainer(s) who offer more flexibility with a sincere willingness to meet unexpected variations in program scheduling or special requests. As an example, this year the Marlins developed a unique version of 'How Great Thou Art' for our invocation that was appreciated by 550 mayors, councilmembers, spouses, legislators and guests present at our annual banquet. There is no group or single entertainer that I would have more trust and confidence in booking for any function or occasion than the Marlins. They appeal to everyone, offering a variety of soft music from the 40's through rock and roll of the 60's and the most current hits." Edwin L.
